Our medical raw material and final product manufacturing units are operated by cutting-edge technology and a high degree of automation. Together with our special technology subunits, these assemblages form a unique nonwoven production technology that provides us with flexible manufacturing opportunities. This flexibility, provided by technology, and a faster-paced manufacturing process give us a more comprehensive range of product attributes, beneficial to our healthcare sector partners in the healthcare sector.
A wide variety of product properties
One of the benefits of BICO technology is that we can blend different types of polymers during fiber production. The inner core and sheath of the fiber, formed by the coordinated operation of extruders, can be manufactured from different materials. We can obtain products with the properties required by the customers and the industry by adding aggregates.
3,2m working width
Increased production performance with consistent product quality. The fibers exiting the extruders are evenly distributed on a conveyor belt where, by using vacuum and being fed to calender rolls, they reach a width of 3,2 meters.
Inline film coating
With multi-layer materials, the film coating process occurs inline. The hot and melted film layer is directly poured on the material via the calender rolls. The hot layers bond through this process, creating strong welded connections between the materials.
Biaxial stretching
During the biaxial stretching method in our German factory, the machinery stretches the material in both machine and transverse directions. With this particular technique, the mechanical properties of nonwoven textiles can be significantly improved, therefore providing a greater tensile strength for medical protective clothing materials.
Fine-tuning of product properties
By adding aggregates to the raw materials, we can alter product properties in a broad spectrum while keeping homogeneity. With the kiss-roll technology, we can control the fabric’s breathability, while by adding aggregates, we can create material properties relevant to the healthcare sector. Applications to the base fabrics can be antiviral, fungicidal, antibacterial, hydrophobic, hydrophilic, antistatic, and flame retardant.
LINOPORE technology
The combined use of special technical solutions results in the unique technological mix brought together under the international trademark called LINOPORE. Due to their outstanding mechanical properties, multi-layer nonwoven products made by using LINOPORE technology can be utilized to manufacture medical raw materials and protective clothing.
Professional product management and quality control
The medical production lines are equipped with an online quality-control system operating 24/7 and can detect even the most minor malfunctions. A manufacturing software controls production; therefore, documentation and tracking of batch numbers are always accurate.
Our laboratory
Our well-equipped lab supports quality control and new product development and plays a significant role in certification tasks.
